Love

We all know love right? The love a parent has for their child, the love you have for your spouse, and most important of all; the love God has for us. He loves us just because he can, we don’t have to do anything for him to love us. In Romans 8:38-39 it says “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord”

Let that sink in for a moment. Nothing can separate us from his love, no matter what we do. No mistake, no rude comment we make, no inappropriate thought we have can ever make God turn his back on us. That is beautiful and it’s something we don’t even have to work for, it’s simply there for us and all we have to do it receive it. I always get warm and fuzzy feelings because I am worth this kind of love for just existing. It makes me feel so special and chosen. He handcrafted me and designed me to be who I am. This bible verse came to my mind and I feel it’s so fitting considering yesterday was Easter, but in Matthew 28:20 it says “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” God will never stop loving you and he will never leave you, he will be there with you every step of the way. It is written, nothing can come between you and the love God has for you, and he will be with you until the end of time.

So, just accept the love that God has for you, because it’s there not matter what.
